Asian Health Services’ “Stop the Hate” Program Evaluation Report

Client: Asian Health Services | Year: 2023

Asian Health Services (AHS), founded in 1974, provides health, social, and advocacy services for all regardless of income, insurance status, language, or culture. Their approach to wellbeing focuses on “whole patient health,” which is why they provide more than primary care services, including mental health, case management, nutrition, and dental care to more than 50,000 patients in English and 15 languages.

In 2022, AHS allocated $3.6 million to 21 community organizations across the Bay Area, South Bay and Central Coast through the Stop the Hate program, aimed at supporting victims and survivors of hate. To assess the program’s impact and the role of AHS as the regional coordinator, reimagine collective developed an evaluation plan with a logic model and measurement framework. As part of the reimagine team, I designed the 48-page report, “Beyond One: The Power of Community-Based Solutions to Create Healing and Safety,” which details the outcomes and insights from the first year.
